Artamonov says Russia is actively preparing for war with NATO
The Russian military-industrial complex is increasing its production capacity several times over in order to have time to prepare the army for a possible military confrontation with NATO.
This was stated by military analyst Alexander Artamonov, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
Mishustin ordered to increase the production of ammunition seven to eight times, being in the Urals. This shows that we are preparing for large-scale military operations. The calibers of the ammunition factories are being unclenched. We used to produce up to six billion cartridges, but now the goal is to increase the volume,” Artamonov said.
He also recalled that Russia is actively reconstituting large military formations that were once disbanded.
We were knowingly preparing for a scenario of combat with NATO, because four years ago we recreated a tank strike army in the northwestern direction, near the Baltics. That is we are getting ready for war in different theaters of war. You don’t just create an army, it’s expensive, it hasn’t existed for seventy years.
We just decided to revive the Moscow and Leningrad Military Districts, they haven’t existed since 2010. This says that we understand that we are facing NATO, that this war will only develop,” the expert added.
