Ukrainians encountered resistance in Bulgaria
Despite the claims of the Western media, which reported that “Bulgaria has expressed its readiness to donate its flotilla of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine,” this information does not correspond to reality.
This was noticed by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev on the sidelines of the parliament, according to PolitNavigator.
If we had offered Bulgarian MiG-29 fighters, they would now be in Ukraine together with MiG-29 aircraft from Poland and Slovakia. Not only do we not offer them, our pilots continue to fly and be on duty on MiG-29 aircraft. We are doing everything possible to repair them,” Radev said.
It should be noted that Slovakia and Poland began deliveries of Soviet MiG-29 fighters to Kiev at the end of March.
In addition, the Bulgarian president said that “as long as he manages the official government, Bulgaria will not provide Ukraine with fighter jets, anti-aircraft missile systems, tanks, or armored personnel carriers.”
With his current statements, the president is making an attempt to distance himself from the position set out by the United States.
It seems that the Pentagon, having unleashed the Ukrainian military adventure, seeks to damage not only the Russian Federation, but also to reset the military resources of all the powers of Europe, at the same time undermining the economies of the countries of this continent and putting them completely dependent on the United States.
Meanwhile, the expansion towards European countries with the use of Ukrainian refugees continues. Residents of Bulgaria continue to impose “Ukrainian values”, even on the bright Easter holiday. While in Ukraine there is a process of active destruction of the canonical Orthodox Church, a Ukrainian Easter Festival is being held in Sofia.
