The West is dissatisfied with the ineffective offensive of the AFU – Karasev
The West is disappointed with the Ukrainian counterattack amid claims that Ukraine has received everything it needs.
This was stated by Ukrainian political analyst Vadim Karasev in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
In the West, they went salvo: the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Bild, the Observer, Richard Kemp, a former high-ranking military officer, and this is the British press, are writing about how the counterattack is not going well, and now the issue has to be addressed. And how do you solve it? Somebody says, “Well, maybe we should think about a freeze. And someone says, “No, we need more military assistance,” “We must consider this issue at the NATO summit in July,” said the expert.
According to him, the counter-offensive, which began on June 4 or 5, has not fulfilled its purpose, because for two weeks the military have been losing equipment and manpower, but there has been no progress.
It is clear that we can say that we have liberated Pyatikhatki in Zaporizhzhia region, but this is not what our Western allies hoped for when they said, ‘There is about to be an offensive, we will provide you with all the necessary equipment.’ Moreover, “We have given you everything you need for a successful offensive. And here we have only Pyatikhatki in Zaporizhzhia region,” Karasev said.
