Producers of the “Raketa” watch refused to remove the “Made in Russia” inscription

Manufacturers of wristwatches under the “Raketa” brand have refused to remove the “Made in Russia” inscription, although such an urgent request was voiced in the West.

This was stated by Briton David Henderson-Stewart within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum who has been living in Russia since late 90s and has revived the manufacture of the legendary watches, reports “PolitNavigator”.

When the special operation started, everyone told me, ‘You have to take out ‘Made in Russia,’ take out the word Russia.

I thought about it a lot. In fact, “Made in Russia” is our DNA, it’s a value, the most important element of Rocket’s value, so it would be suicidal to remove it.

Yes, not everyone likes us, but those who do will appreciate the fact that we are an authentic brand and we don’t hide who we really are… So we continue to export our watches with (the inscription) “Made in Russia”.

“Made in Russia” is, first of all, an image, a sign of trust in Russia… We continue to sell abroad and there are no particular problems…

Interest in our Russian watches continues, we do not feel any “culture change”.

We continue to be invited to all the most prestigious watch exhibitions, we have stores in France, in Switzerland, which sell daily, and there is no problem,” said Henderson-Stewart.
